Do you know an outstanding teacher? Twin Rivers Unified School District is pleased to participate in the 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year program through the Sacramento County Office of Education.
This program highlights educational innovation, student learning, and the rewards of teaching. The Teacher of the Year process pays tribute to our teaching force, the complexity of challenges that confront our schools, and the need to promote collaboration and teamwork to meet those challenges.
Anyone may submit a nomination form – staff members, students, families, and community members as well as the teachers themselves. Nominations are due to principals, in writing, by Friday, Jan. 20, 2017.
The Teacher of the Year process and form links are available below. Should you have any questions regarding this program, please contact Charlene VanAllen in the Communications Department at 916-566-1765.
